If you follow me on Instagram you saw a photo a few weeks ago of some glitter feather goodness I created using Bella Blvd's feathers. I put together a video on how I did that along with a centerpiece I made for Thanksgiving.

TGIF Gang! Stopping by today to share a fun freebie from the owner of Bella Blvd, Stephanie! In 2011 she created a free set of printables (find them here) to create an album for Thanksgiving Day. Well she is at it again and will be releasing another free set for this year. Stop by her blog for details and download them when they become available!
Thermoweb & Lawn Fawn have teamed up the next two weeks to show off Lawn Fawns newest collections. I received Into the Woods papers and stamps. I gotta say I loved this collection even more then I thought I would. The colors are perfect and I love the little animals. I went ahead and used more iCraft to create my title. If you missed the video I posted a few weeks ago on how to use iCraft see it below. It's so darn easy!
On this layout I used the Into the Woods die set with wood veneer paper for my leaves. Lovvvvvvvvvvinggggggggggggg!!!!!!!
The details on the dies are fantastic.
I used my Cameo and sketch pens to write my journaling then cut around it.
For my card I wanted to match my speech bubble and sentiment to the stamp set. So I used the graphics and traced them with my Cameo to cut them out. It took some editing, but it worked. Maybe we will get lucky and they will sell cut files. Hint Hint! Be sure to stop by both blogs the next two weeks and check out all the fun projects and win some goodies!
Hey y'all Paper Issues has teamed up and sponsored Creative Scrappers newest sketch. Do the sketch and be entered to win a $30 gift card to the PI Shop! How easy. I pulled out some Crate Paper Flea Market to get it going.
Well I figured it best to blog the Halloween layout before Thanksgiving rolled around. I don't know about you, but by the time Halloween gets here I am burnt out on making Halloween stuff! So more pics to scrap next year. For this one I used Elle's Studio Penelope. SO versatile right? I love non traditional colors for holidays a lot. I really love the cut files that she made for October!
This months Elle's Studio Limited Edition & Exclusive November Kit is now live and on sale! Every month on the 10th, Elle's Studio launches a new kit for a special price of $9.99 on launch day (at 12:01am on the 11th it goes up to $11.99). Don't miss it - it's exclusive to Elle's Studio and they have a limited stock on hand, once they sell out they will not be restocking!
As always her kits are jam packed with new little goodies! I love that she has mixed fall and the upcoming Christmas holidays. She LOADS of new stuff going on. This month's brand new cut files are super fun! I am using her files A LOT I just love them.
Next up is her wood veneer release, there are 3 sets and they are almost sold out. So if you are waiting I would not!
Next up! With every order now through the holidays you will be getting a set of her custom gift tags as a gift to you!
Lastly is my project that I made using this months kit. I broke out my sewing machine this month. The amount of dust on it was embarrassing. It made noises when I used it. That's probably bad.
I mixed this months kit along with cut the cut files and a wood piece from one of the sets above. It's simple, but I love it. Thanks for stopping by!
I have come to the point in taking pictures that I sort of know what I am doing (most of the time) When it now comes to taking pictures of Parker all bets are off on if they will be in focus. On Halloween I took some photos of Parker in her costume and a few of her and her sister Tori for the Christmas card. Most of the photos look like this:
Sometimes shes so darn quick I can't even keep up with her let alone adjust my shutter settings when the light keeps changing. I of course love that photo. I wish it was in focus. I am going to just start embracing scrapbooking the blur.
I did get some shots in focus thankfully. I made her costume from a photo I found on pinterest. I love how it came out and it was SO easy.
I got just a couple of Parker and Tori that were usable. Another toddler issue is just getting them to look at the camera let alone smile......or anything really. I love these! I'm not sharing the actual Christmas card photo. It can wait ;)
I am probably going to remind you of this at least once a week. Yesterday we kicked off #30gratefuldays on Instagram. Each week we will be picking someone to receive a prize! This week is Amy Tan's Cut and Paste Project Life Mini Kit. Awesome right? You can start anytime so don't feel the pressure to post all 30 days. I wanted to create a mini album to do with my photos, but instead I changed it up to a handbook. I thought the project life style would be much easier to keep up with.
I used the Studio Calico chevron album (I got last year lol) and I sprayed it with Color Shine in Gold Lame and Primrose. I sealed it with Mod Podge spray sealer in Lustre. Worked like a charm and its so super shinny!
I am using the Recorded line by Allison Kreft for Websters Pages. Totally loving the color scheme and fun elements. I went ahead and just cut down the transparency sheet and the paper that I call the "project life" paper with the 3x4 cards.
I am not sure how I am going to embellish just yet. I may go back and add more when it gets closer to being done. I have day 1 and 2 already printed and in thanks to my selphy.
More to come!
Last week I threw together two quick cards for Elle's Studio using her new cut files. This week Waleska used those cards to create this weeks sketches. If you play along you could win a $10 gift card to Elle's Shop! Details HERE.
