Welcome to the Two Peas in a Bucket Garden Girl Blog Hop! A Garden Girl is the title we receive as designers for the Two Peas website. As Garden Girls we create projects, host challenges, teach classes, and participate in events all designed to inspire your creativity. This week the Garden Girls are sponsoring special projects and giveaways on our personal blogs. Be sure to follow the list below as you hop from one blog to the next. Each Garden Girl is hosting her own giveaway so be sure to read the instructions for how you can participate in each contest. If you get lost simply either start at the beginning of the blog hop again or skip to the next blog listed below.
Each Garden Girl is sharing a project with you as well as a giveaway! I was trying to come up with something and I kept going back to an already made project. This project was made last year and was my first ever featured project of the day at Two Peas.
It is still by far one of my very favorite projects that I have ever made. I am in love with making things out of Maya Road Bottlecaps. So I think what I am going to do next is make an advent calender. I can't decide what line I want to use for it so here is your challenge and my giveaway. Leave me a comment telling me which line (old or new doesn't matter) you would use and why. I will be giving away a Two Peas Gift Card to a randomly drawn winner on Nov 8th. You have until Nov 7th at 8 p.m. EST to leave a comment. Please use your correct email when leaving a comment as that is how your gift card will come.
Very cute. I think I would want October Afternoon.

I love the idea of joining the bottle caps! Wonderful! I would suggest using Authentique's WOnder line. The quality of the paper and the traditional colours would lend a lovely feeling to the Advent calendar. Thanks for sharing!
Posted by: Christa | November 02, 2011 at 04:14 PM
I would use the Good Cheer line from October Afternoon. I adore those cute snowmen! I also love the pink text paper with snowflakes.
I love vintage style Christmas paper. And lines that combine a little aqua, pink, and lime green with the traditional red and green. I also love paper with musical notes.
I also have a "white whale" (as in Moby Dick) of a scrapbook line. It came out before I started buying online, and I never saw it in person. But I saw it in projects and loved it! I think it was from Daisy D's. It was very vintage and had the look of old Christmas cards & wrapping paper. I loved the paper with kids in church choir robes.

I like "cutesy" so my vote is for Echo Park's Holly Jolly - just purchased some papers and alphas that were on sale, so can't wait to use it! A close second would be October Afternoon - that line just speaks to me; love the colors and die cuts - I can stare at other people's layouts using Sidewalks for hours! :)
